Our Mission

Chapman Cultural Center provides significant funding, facilities, and education for many of Spartanburg’s arts and cultural organizations. By promoting the scope and excellence of Greater Spartanburg, we are determined to provide enrichment within the arts, humanities, and sciences. Our educational programs serve over 80,000 public and private school students throughout Spartanburg County. We have hosted many diverse artists with our residency programs over the years. To further the importance of the arts and sciences in the lives of our community, we nurture the professional development and education of creatives across disciplines—music, dance, theater, visual arts, and more.
